About PEPI
Pet Entertainment Products Inc. (PEPI) is a new venture undertaken by Canadian broadcast company Stornoway Communications, owner and operator of ichannel, bpm:tv and The Pet Network. PEPI is a natural extension of The Pet Network's mission statement to provide informative and entertaining family television devoted to our pets.
The genesis of PEPI's first product initiative was founded in part because The Pet Network wanted to play a greater role in the care of our pets. There was input received from the channel's viewing audience that their pets actually watched TV with them when The Pet Network showed images of other animals and pet-related activities.
Further research indicated that there is a genuine demand for a source of stimuli, specifically created to engage, comfort, fascinate and even "educate" pets. World renowned dog behaviourist Dr. Stanley Coren's show "Good Dog" is televised on the The Pet Network, so Dr. Coren was the obvious choice to design a DVD series to help alleviate anxiety, depression, loneliness and phobias common to dogs.
Dr. Coren meticulously crafted scripts based on scientific and psychological research, for this first of its kind product. "Your Dog Companion" DVD Series is now available for purchase.
